Government of Maharashtra in order to encourage the dispersal of industries has been giving incentives to New Industrial Units / Expansion Units set up in the State of Maharashtra under a Scheme popularly known as the “Package Scheme of Incentives”. The Industrial Unit has to obtain ‘Eligibility Certificate’ on commissioning of New/Expansion Unit and has to submit Claim of incentive on yearly basis.
We at Prathmesh Shete & Associates provide end to end advisory and support in implementation of PSI 2007/ 2013/ 2019, right from concept stage to availing the incentives in most effective manner. We advice the clients on planning the investment right at the project planning stage so as to optimize the benefits under the particular scheme. We are well versed with the technicalities and complex documentation involved in the process and assists the clients in submission of compliant application within time to avoid any curtailment in the incentives. Our role in not only limited to obtaining the ‘Eligibility Certificate’ (i.e. sanction letter) for a particular unit, but we also ensure that the year claims are submitted within time and incentive for particular year is credited to the bank account of unit.
The advisory service includes:
- Advisory in selecting the project site from incentive point of view;
- Advisory in framing marketing strategy / procurement strategy with objective to optimize benefits under Package Scheme of Incentives
- Submission of initial application followed by detailed applicant with implementing agency (Govt. of Maharashtra) for obtaining the Eligibility Certificate
- Detailed discussion on the application with implementing agency as and when required and obtaining ‘Eligibility Certificate’ under Package Scheme of Incentives
- Submission of various compliances as stipulated during the operative period of Eligibility Certificate
- Submission of yearly claims with implementing agency for sanction of incentives followed by technical discussion. Obtaining sanction of claims in shortest possible time and ensuring that the incentives are credited to the bank account of client.
